Finance-Ant is a personal financial management platform that provides:

• Bank statement and mobile money statement processing through document upload
• Financial transaction extraction from uploaded PDF statements
• Transaction tracking, categorization, and management
• Budget creation and management
• Duplicate transaction detection and management
• Multi-account financial overview and consolidation
• Family team financial collaboration features
• AI-powered document analysis for automated statement processing
• Manual transaction entry and tracking

The Service allows you to upload bank and mobile money statements (including M-PESA, Airtel Money, and other providers), extract transaction data, track expenses, set budgets, and manage your personal or family finances through a web-based interface.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use Finance-Ant. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 Account Creation

To use Finance-Ant, you must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.3 Account Types

Finance-Ant offers:

• Personal Accounts: For individual financial management
• Family Team Accounts: For collaborative family financial management with multiple users

4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

4.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use Finance-Ant only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit any unlawful, harmful, or objectionable content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

4.2 Financial Data Accuracy

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of all financial data you upload or input
• Ensuring you have the right to upload and process financial documents
• Verifying that processed transactions extracted from statements are correct
• Reviewing and resolving duplicate transaction notifications
• Maintaining accurate records of your financial accounts
• Regularly reviewing your budgets and financial goals
• Only uploading statements from accounts you own or are authorized to access

5. Financial Data and Privacy

5.1 Data You Provide

When you use Finance-Ant, you may provide:

• Bank statements and mobile money statements (PDF or other document formats)
• Financial documents from various institutions
• Manual transaction data
• OAuth2 authorization for third-party integrations (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Personal identification information
• Payment information for premium features

5.2 How We Use Your Data

We process your financial data to:

• Extract and organize transaction information
• Synchronize data with authorized third-party services (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Identify duplicate transactions
• Generate financial reports and insights
• Provide budgeting and tracking features
• Improve our AI-powered statement processing

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Service Tiers

Finance-Ant may offer:

• Free tier with limited features
• Premium subscriptions with enhanced features

6.2 Billing

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law

8. Termination
